October marks our amazing building being open to the public for 5 years.
That’s 5 years of tasty refreshments at Park Cafe, 5 years of hosting groups and events at Park Hub, 5 years of Art in the Park showcasing local artistic talents and 5 years of friendship and sharing our community space with you.
We can’t quite believe how that time has flown by – yet it still feels like we’ve always been in our little corner of the park.
We are so proud of how this project, dreamt up by local people for local people, came out of the ground and became a space we can all treasure for years to come. It works because of this amazing community we are in – your ongoing support, custom and encouragement means the world – so a huge thank you from us!
Over this month, we’ll have a few birthday treats and surprises – and a lot of looking back at how far both Park Cafe and Park Hub have come and what we’ve achieved.
We created these time lapse videos of the building developing – watching them back, it really is incredible to think how far we’ve come with both the Hub and the Cafe.
