Feeling Autumnal

Even though the sun is still shining and its still pretty warm….we are starting to prep for a wide range of events that will be taking place this Autumn.

First up is our 5th Birthday silent disco! Taking place right at the start of half term on the 24th October – expect 3 hours of funky tunes to dance away to. Pop, rock and indie classics – there will be music for everyone. Our bar will be open for the evening serving a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Doors open at 7pm and close at 10pm. Three hours of dancing and home by half ten….win!!

Next is our Chatty and Crafty Artist Takeover. This is a special event taking place during half term on the 27th October. Local artist and all round creative gem, Amy Close, will be on hand to guide you through making hand painted wooden decorations. Be inspired by Autumn, Halloween or nature and make something beautiful to take home with you. Families welcome (children must be accompanied by an adult). All we ask is for a donation of £5 to help cover costs.

Then we have our annual Pumpkins in the Park event on the 29th October. Book your timeslot from 1-2pm, 2-3pm or 3-4pm, get creative and carve away to your hearts desire! All carving tools will be provided – you just need your creative ideas and designs for your pumpkin. Booking is preferrable (£3.50 per pumpkin) but we will have a limited number of spare pumpkins, so you could just turn up on the day to join in the fun.

After all that half term fun, we’ll definitely be heading to the cafe for a pumpkin spiced latte and a homemade cookie or a delicious warming bowl of homemade soup!!
