We were so lucky to welcome local artist Megan Dowsett to join us for many amazing creative sessions as part of Exeter Art Week. She ran sessions with our regular seniors group and also children from St Michael’s Primary School came along to take part in the fun.
The final fabulous culmination of the whole creative week – the GIANT Mega Nature Doodle – took place on the basketball courts. The Park Life community came together for an inter generational creative session, which transformed the courts into a magical nature doodle, full of natural mandalas made from locally donated garden clippings and other amazing natural creations.
We were lucky enough to have some drone footage which captured all the amazing creations! And they speak for themselves – just wow!
Thank you to everyone who joined us to make such wonderful pieces of art. And a huge thank you to Megan who was utterly amazing throughout the entire week – we can’t wait to work with you again soon!
